The 10-year-old student of Class IV, identified as Miningsinliu Pamei, went to school that day while taking care of her younger sister, as her parents were bound by farming duties.

The 10-year-old student of Class IV, identified as Miningsinliu Pamei, went to school that day while taking care of her younger sister, as her parents were bound by farming duties.

The moving picture caught the attention of Biswajit Singh, who wrote: “Her dedication to education astonished me! This 10-year-old girl named Miningsinliu Pamei from Tamenglong, Manipur, goes to school to look after her sister, as her mother Father was out. Keeping the younger sister in her lap, she does farming and studies.

The minister informed that he was able to contact the little girl’s family and asked them to bring Miningsinliu to Imphal.
Singh said that he would take care of Meiningsinliu’s education until he graduated.

“As soon as I saw this news on social media, we traced his family and asked them to bring him to Imphal. Spoke to her family that I would personally take care of her education until she graduates. Proud of his dedication,” tweeted Singh.

According to reports, the Meiningsinliu family lives in Tamenglong district of North Manipur. She studies at Delong Primary School in Tamenglong district of Manipur.
The photo has left a lasting impression on netizens, who lauded the little girl for her education and devotion to her sister.
