Waves of Russian missiles struck a military training base near Ukraine’s western border with NATO member Poland, killing 35 and wounding 134. The strike followed Russian threats targeting foreign arms shipments that are helping Ukrainian fighters defend their country against Russia’s grinding invasion.

According to the governor of Ukraine’s West Lviv region, more than 30 Russian cruise missiles targeted a training facility spread less than 25 kilometers from the nearest border point with Poland.
