374 new COVID-19 cases reported in Sikkim, 2 fresh deaths
East Sikkim reported the highest number of 248 new cases, followed by West Sikkim with 71, South Sikkim with 43 and North Sikkim with 12 new cases.
The COVID-19 number in Sikkim rose to 35,303 on Tuesday as 374 more tested positive for the infection, 157 more than the previous day, a health bulletin said.
It said the death toll in the Himalayan state had risen to 415 as two more patients had died from the infection.
In the last 24 hours, 1,556 samples were tested for COVID-19, resulting in a 24 percent positive rate.
The bulletin said East Sikkim had the highest number of 248 new cases reported, followed by West Sikkim (71), South Sikkim (43) and North Sikkim (12).

Sikkim now has 2,157 active cases, while 32,271 have recovered from the disease, and 460 patients have so far been transferred to other states, adding that the discharge rate was 93 per cent.
