5 YouTubers killed in car and truck collision in Darang Assam
Five YouTubers returning from a shooting were killed after their car collided with a truck in Darrang, Assam, on Sunday.
Five people were killed in an accident on National Highway-15 in Assam’s Darang district on Sunday. All five of the dead have been identified as YouTubers.
The accident took place on National Highway 15 in Besimari area under Dalgaon police station in Darrang district.
A truck with a total of eight passengers collided with a truck on the expressway. Eight passengers were returning from a shooting when their car crashed.
A police official from Darang district said a vehicle coming from Tezpur towards Mangaldoi collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction.
“Five people in the car died on the spot, and three more passengers were seriously injured in the incident.”
The deceased were identified as Faridul Islam, Azad Ali, Ibrahim Ali, Manjuwara Begum and Sania Akter, all residents of Darang district.
Meanwhile, the injured were taken to Mangaldoi Civil Hospital and then referred to Guwahati.
