Arunachal Pradesh has been reopene for travelers
The Arunachal Pradesh state government has announced the reopening of the state for travelers to promote tourism in the region. As per reports, passengers who’ve been absolutely vaccinated will be allowed to enter the state with each the doses of the approved COVID-19 vaccine.
As well as, the state government also passed an order, stating that the issuance of Inner Line Permit (ILP) / Restricted Area Permit / Protected Area Permit under the existing rules and rules might be resumed with quick impact.
ILP is an official travel document issued to Indian residents who want to travel to restricted/protected areas or states, including Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram, for a limited time period.
Equally, the Foreigners (Protected Areas) Act is required to obtain a Protected Area Permit (PAP) by foreign travelers visiting sure areas in India, including Arunachal. Reportedly, this decision will prove beneficial for hoteliers, tour operators, homestays, cab operators and all tourism associated stakeholders as they’re going through financial difficulties due to suspension of permits.

Therefore, in order to reopen the tourism sector, the state government issued orders to withdraw the suspension on issuance of Protected Area Permits and ILPs to travelers because the COVID-19 situation within the area is under control.
Apart from this, the administration will also subject an advisory on COVID appropriate behavior for the passengers.
