Assam Rifles JCO injured in militant attack on Indo-Myanmar border in Arunachal Pradesh
Assam Rifles soldiers were fired upon by militant groups from across the Indo-Myanmar border at Tirap Changlang in Arunachal Pradesh, news agency ANI reported. The JCO has a minor injury on his hand.

In retaliation, the Assam Rifles opened fire on them and an encounter broke out between them, but no casualty was reported, a source said.
Confirming the incident, Changlang superintendent of police (SP) Mihin Gambo said firing was received from the Pangsau Pass area this morning.
