Bollywood is not my cup of tea Says MS Dhoni
MS Dhoni clarified that he is not going to venture into Bollywood after retirement. “Bollywood actually is not my cup of tea,” he stated.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni introduced his retirement from international cricket on August 15, 2020. However, he continued to play within the Indian Premier League (IPL). Lately, the star cricketer hinted at his farewell game with Chennai Super Kings. After retiring from cricket, many cricketers try their hand in Bollywood, but not MS Dhoni. He recently opened up on his Bollywood plans after retirement.
Dhoni has no Bollywood plans
Though late actor Sushant Singh Rajput told the story of Dhoni in his biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, it will be tough to see the batsman himself in front of the camera. Recently, he stated that he’s not Bollywood as a post-retirement stint as he believes that acting will not be a simple talent and he’ll stick to cricket.
He stated, “You already know Bollywood will not be actually my cup of tea. So far as commercials are concerned, I’m completely happy to do them. On the subject of movies, I feel it’s a very powerful career. And it is very tough to deal with. I let movie stars do it as a result of they’re actually good at it. I’ll keep on with cricket. The closest I can come to performing is advertising and nothing extra.

Lately Harbhajan Singh made his acting debut with the Tamil movie Friendship. In an interplay with IndiaToday.in, the cricketer also talked about his plans to make his personal biopic. Cricketers like Brett Lee, Ajay Jadeja, Vinod Kambli have also tried their hand at performing in the past.
