Pakistan warned India to “beware of the unpleasant consequences of such negligence and to take effective measures to avoid recurrence of such violations in future”.
A day earlier, Pakistani military spokesman Major-General Babar Iftikhar said in a late evening press conference that a “high-speed flying object” crashed near its eastern city of Mian Channu and originated from the northern Indian city of Sirsa in Haryana state. . Near New Delhi.
The incident has puzzled military experts because firing the missile system involves a preparation process, identification of a target and the triggering of multiple switches.
Happyman Jacob, professor of international studies at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University, said both sides handled the situation well.
