The two cadres reportedly infiltrated from the ULFA (I) camp in Myanmar and entered Indian territory after being arrested by the joint team.

The cadres were living in Hachi camp, known as the General Military Headquarters of the organization and working under the command of Major General Michael Deka Fukan.

According to sources, the Assam Rifles troops conducted an operation between Border Pillars Nos. 162 and 163 on the basis of a specific input and arrested the cadres.

Sources said that according to the cadres, the current strength in the camp is around 40. More details will be known only after thorough interrogation of the two cadres.
