Student commits suicide in Assam’s Tezpur University hostel
A fourth year student of Tezpur University allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel room on Friday.
The student was a resident of Dibrugarh and was pursuing Integrated MSc. Course in Chemistry.
His body was discovered by his hostel mates on Friday morning. Police is investigating the matter and no information has been shared yet. The university has yet to issue a statement at the time of filing this report, and according to students, the girl’s body is still on campus.
