Johnson said on Twitter that Scotland has pledged £65 million to Britain’s military aid to Ukraine. The prime minister said Scotland had helped contribute a total of £2.3 billion to the country since the war began. 6,000 Ukrainian migrants will receive housing assistance from Edinburgh, he said.
Johnson also thanked the Government of Wales for providing £35 million in funding that will be used to support Ukraine’s military aid efforts. Additionally, Wales will provide shelter to 3,000 Ukrainian migrants.
