The explosion came on the day Russia announced it would start withdrawing troops from Kyiv and Chenigov following peace talks with Ukrainian officials in Istanbul.
But Ukraine was skeptical about Russia’s promise, with President Volodymyr Zelensky saying they were “not naive.”

“Ukrainians have already learned in these 34 days of invasion and in the last eight years of the war in Donbass that the only thing they can believe in is a concrete result,” he said on Tuesday.
The invasion was halted on most fronts due to stubborn resistance from Ukrainian forces, who reclaimed the territory despite civilians being trapped in the besieged cities.
